What is Latanoprost?

Latanoprost and the brand name Xalatan are eye drops used to treat glaucoma and other causes of high pressure inside the eye. Latanoprost is similar to the natural chemical inside your body prostaglandin and works to lower pressure inside the eye by increasing the amount of fluid which drains from the eye.
