Combigan is an eye drop combination medication containing Brimonidine and Timolol and is used to treat high pressure inside the eye as a result of open-angle or ocular hypertension. Lowering high pressure inside the eye can help to prevent blindness. The two medications work together to lower eye pressure. Brimonidine decreases the amount of fluid formed in the eye by allowing better fluid drainage whereas timolol is a beta-blocker which reduces pressure inside the eye.
Always read the patient information and instructions carefully before using this medication.
